The Brief
Offering separate widget services for different communication channels, AloTech aims to combine all its widgets into a single standalone product called Click2Connect in order to offer its services to a wider audience.

The Challenge
The current widget creation process provides a poor user experience for end users, as it is primarily designed for trained specialists and focused on extensive features of enterprise customers. To make the product more accessible to a broader audience, the process must be simplified while keeping the advanced options critical to enterprise customers.

The Solution
A multi-layered customization system has been introduced on the setup screens to address different user preferences. This approach allows users to create simple widgets without being overwhelmed by extensive options, while still providing enterprise customers access to all the tools they need for detailed customization.

Conclusion
Developing a standalone product by combining legacy widget infrastructures was a challenging task, both in design and programming. Despite some hurdles, we successfully created a unique product that generated significant interest at launch. Customers familiar with the old widget system quickly embraced the new solution. While there is still potential for growth, the product will continue to evolve with user feedback.
